You've probably heard the saying that the three most important elements of real estate are "Location, Location, and Location."  This old adage is good advice and we want you to know that from our main office location just over the bridges from Stuart, we are able to serve our island vacation rental clients as well as our island and mainland buyers and sellers throughout Martin County.  The Hutchinson Island CENTURY 21 IRP Realty office is conveniently located within the Indian River Plantation Resort, in the two story commercial office building just across the street from the Marriott Resort Hotel.

To better serve our clients in the Jensen Beach and Port St. Lucie County, we also operate an office located on the northwest corner of Jensen Beach Blvd., at the intersection of Savannah Road.  We hope you will stop in and see us soon at either of our locations and let us help you achieve your real estate goals.

    In my case the story spans a 39 year real estate development and brokerage career commencing in 1970 with a BA degree from Lafayette College, with a major in economics and a passion for sales and marketing. In 1974 I was licensed as a real estate broker in Connecticut, and have been continuously licensed as a real estate broker in Florida since 1980. From 1975 until 1997 I held various executive management and corporate officer positions with Radnor Corporation, the real estate development subsidiary of Sun Oil Company (Sunoco) of Pennsylvania. From 1995 until 1997 I served as President of this national commercial and residential development company, responsible for the management of corporate and project related personnel and real estate assets owned and under development totaling nearly 1.3 billion dollars. Many local Martin County real estate development projects including the Marriott Resort Hotel and Marina on Hutchinson Island, the condominium villages at Indian River Plantation, and the Willoughby Golf Club community were successfully completed by Radnor Corporation subsidiaries during this time.

    Eager to focus our business operations and careers in a more local environment, in 1999 my business partner, Bill Dean, and I traded our frequent flyer miles and our Fortune 500 national company identities for the exciting real estate development and brokerage opportunities spanning Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties. We purchased the real estate brokerage office at Indian River Plantation that we had built and managed since 1985 for Radnor Corporation, and the company then known only as IRP Realty was born as a general residential brokerage office specializing in waterfront, resort, and golf course condominium and single family sales and rentals.

    In 2008 we added the CENTURY 21
    System franchise brand and marketing tools to our enterprise and today, our business continues to grow featuring both island and mainland offices, 20 professional REALTOR
    marketing consultants, and significantly expanded market areas throughout Martin and St. Lucie counties. Like its owners, our sales associates and staff share a love for this special place on the beaches of the Treasure Coast where we work and play.
